Windows Internet Guard can be a challenging thing to remove due to the way it will block other programs from running. It can make changes to your registry, infect critical system files, . It may even completely destroy your current antivirus or antispyware program making them useless. Don’t give up hope yet though, because we have two ways to remove this bogus infection.

The first method is automatic and is recommended because it is the fastest and easiest. The manual method is a little trickier and should only be attempted by the more advanced user. You can read about both methods below:

Automatic removal is by far the fastest and easiest method of removal. It is based on using a genuine antispyware program that is designed to destroy infections like this and keep your computer protected in the future.

Download the removal tool here: Windows Internet Guard Removal Tool

*Tip* – Make sure your computer is in safe mode with networking before downloading.

Rename the downloaded file to “explorer.exe” (without the quotation marks), the reason you must rename it is to prevent Windows Internet Guard from blocking it’s ability to run.

Double click on explorer.exe to launch the removal tool. It will automatically terminate any Windows Internet Guard processes and allow you to install the removal tool. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation.

After installation, Spy Hunter will update to the newest version and begin an automatic scan of your system. Now register the software and it will automatically find and remove Windows Internet Guard and it’s associated files and registry entries.

Your computer should now be free of any traces of Windows Internet Guard and any other spyware or virus infections you may have had.

Spy Hunter’s free version will only find the infected files and registry entries. Registration is required to fully remove the infection (although you can use the scan to find the exact files and registry entries for manual removal). We highly recommend automatic removal due to how easy and fast it is. If your current antivirus let this infection onto your computer, then perhaps you need better protection :)

Manual removal can be long and tricky due to having to remove all Windows Internet Guard executables, files and folders, and registry entries. It is only recommended if you know what you are doing.

Before considering to use these manual removal steps, please consider the following disclaimer:

Altering computer files and register items should only be attempted by knowledgeable computer users. Errors in performing these steps may lead to problems effecting other aspects of your machine. Attempt these steps at your own risk, otherwise consider using the automatic removal method.

Download Process Explorer to your desktop and rename it “explorer.exe” (without the quotation marks).

Double click on explorer.exe to launch Process Explorer. Identify any processes associated with Windows Internet Guard and terminate them by clicking on them and selecting “End Process Tree”.

Now you must find and delete any infected files and folders related to Windows Internet Guard such as but not limited to:

%CommonAppData%\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND
CHARACTERS].exe

%CommonAppData%\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS].ico

%CommonAppData%\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]

You must access the registry editor to remove the infected registry entries. To access the registry editor, click Start –> Run and type in “regedit” (without quotations). Now you need to delete/repair any and all corrupt registry entries such as but not limited to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce “[RANDOM
NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]“

Due to the polymorphic nature of this virus we cannot guarantee the actual location of the files or registry entries. RemoveSpywareFast.com can not be held responsible for problems or damages that may occur by using this information, and we strongly suggest using the automatic removal method to remove Windows Internet Guard.

Windows Premium Shield can be a challenging thing to remove due to the way it will block other programs from running.

Download the removal tool here: Windows Premium Shield Removal Tool

*Tip* – Make sure your computer is in safe mode with networking before downloading.

Rename the downloaded file to “explorer.exe” (without the quotation marks), the reason you must rename it is to prevent Windows Premium Shield from blocking it’s ability to run.

Double click on explorer.exe to launch the removal tool. It will automatically terminate any Windows Premium Shield processes and allow you to install the removal tool. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation.

After installation, Spy Hunter will update to the newest version and begin an automatic scan of your system. Now register the software and it will automatically find and remove Windows Premium Shield and it’s associated files and registry entries.

Your computer should now be free of any traces of Windows Premium Shield and any other spyware or virus infections you may have had.

Manual removal can be long and tricky due to having to remove all Windows Premium Shield executables, files and folders, and registry entries.

Identify any processes associated with Windows Premium Shield and terminate them by clicking on them and selecting “End Process Tree”.

Now you must find and delete any infected files and folders related to Windows Premium Shield such as but not limited to:

%CommonAppData%\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND
CHARACTERS].exe

%CommonAppData%\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS].ico

%CommonAppData%\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]

You must access the registry editor to remove the infected registry entries. To access the registry editor, click Start –> Run and type in “regedit” (without quotations). Now you need to delete/repair any and all corrupt registry entries such as but not limited to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce “[RANDOM
NUMBERS AND CHARACTERS]“

Due to the polymorphic nature of this virus we cannot guarantee the actual location of the files or registry entries. RemoveSpywareFast.com can not be held responsible for problems or damages that may occur by using this information, and we strongly suggest using the automatic removal method to remove Windows Premium Shield.
